Tattooing since the age of 12, LaurentZ has refined his unique style by drawing inspiration from his architectural background. While he is an ornamental artist, he isn’t afraid to incorporate other styles of tattooing into his art — with influence from Neotraditional and traditional Japanese.  

Located in France, LaurentZ has taken full advantage of what the industry offers: traveling often, meeting fellow artists, attending conventions, and competing.  

Two years ago, LaurentZ was drawn to Kuro Sumi. Finally finding a brand that is as meticulous with its products as he is with his work, “I wanted to get closer to the fundamentals of tattooing and Kuro Sumi is just that, the basis of high-quality artistry.” He may be a blackwork tattooist, but with Kuro Sumi’s wide-ranging palette, LaurentZ is excited to integrate color into his designs.
