Tattooing since 2008, Alessio Ventimiglia, started his artistic journey in school studying the basics of art. After attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, he achieved his diploma in 2007.

With an expertise in the foundations of art and a passion for Japanese culture, Alessio took to Japan, gaining firsthand experience of the culture. With a blooming fascination of Horimono, the traditional Japanese tattoo, Alessio developed his style in the study of classical iconography and ukiyo-e print artists.

A Kuro Sumi devotee for about 5 years, Alessio’s built a huge following creating top tier traditional Japanese pieces. With several convention wins under his belt in Rome, Arezzo, Turin, San Remo, Ferrara, and more he’s a stellar artist with un-matched skill and experience.
